What do we need to start taking lessons?
Congratulations on deciding to take riding lessons! Your child is going to love it! Here are some of the things you will need to get started. Grand Champion Tack Store can help you with anything you need. Ask for Sarah and tell them you’re starting to ride at Three Ships LLC!
- Riding Helmet (Ovation, Onek, Charles Owen, Samshield)- We do have helmets for your child to borrow if you’re not sure what to get or not ready to make the purchase.
- Paddock Boots (Ariat, Treadstep, similar brand) – Short boots with a small heel
- Half Chaps (Ariat, Treadstep, similar brand)- You can decide to get these now, or wait until you’re sure your child likes to ride
- Riding Gloves- More necessary in the colder months
